Pain Therapy
– Helping You Relieve Pain Sustainably

Pain in the back, neck, head or joints can significantly limit daily life and reduce quality of life – whether it occurs acutely or becomes chronic. In our practice in Berlin-Charlottenburg, we do not regard pain as something that must simply be endured, but as an important signal from your body. Together, we aim to reduce pain, improve mobility and strengthen your overall well-being.

Our pain therapy combines holistic, naturopathic approaches with modern and effective treatment methods. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we work to identify and address the underlying causes of your complaints.

Our Approach to Pain Therapy

American Chiropractic – Gentle, Precise and Effective

We use elements of American chiropractic to specifically identify and treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Through gentle, controlled impulses to joints and the spine, we support natural mobility and the coordinated interaction of the body’s structures.

Fascial Distortion Model (FDM)

The Fascial Distortion Model assumes that pain often results from distortions within the fascial tissue. Using this specialized diagnostic and therapeutic approach, we aim to relieve pain, resolve movement restrictions and restore function – often with noticeable improvement after just a few sessions.

Acupuncture as Part of Pain Therapy

Acupuncture from Traditional Chinese Medicine is a valuable component of our pain treatment concept. By stimulating selected acupuncture points, we promote pain relief and support the body’s natural regulatory processes. Treatment frequency is tailored individually to your symptoms and goals.

Which classic applications/indications can be treated?

The FDM expands the diagnostic possibilities of our therapists. It can be used in various medical specialities for a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Pain therapy in the form of the FDM offers a fundamental benefit without additional medication and its side effects. Very effective results are also achieved with the following conditions, for example:

  • Sudden pain without a conscious cause
  • Migrating pain
  • Acute, emergency-like, "crazy" pain
  • Low back and back pain, "lumbago", knee pain
  • Shoulder and neck pain
  • Feeling of weakness/loss of strength
  • Headaches, migraines, tinnitus
  • Sprains, dislocations
  • Torn ligaments and other sports injuries
  • Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
  • Heel spur
  • Blockages
  • Radicular and pseudo-radicular symptoms such as sensory disturbances, spasticity, clonus and rigidity

Homeosiniatry – Combining Acupuncture and Homeopathy

When appropriate, we combine acupuncture with homeopathic remedies that are injected directly into acupuncture points. This method, known as homeosiniatry, may enhance local effects and further support the body’s responsiveness.

K-Taping for Additional Support

We also offer K-taping as a supportive measure. Elastic therapeutic tapes are applied in a targeted manner to support muscles, relieve joints and encourage the body’s own regulation – without restricting freedom of movement.

When Can Our Pain Therapy Be Helpful?

Our pain therapy may be suitable for a wide range of complaints, including:

  • acute pain, for example, following injury or overuse
  • chronic pain in the back, neck, shoulders or joints
  • movement restrictions and functional limitations
  • migraines, headaches or tinnitus
  • sports injuries and muscular imbalances
  • symptoms without a clearly identifiable conventional medical cause

At the outset, we explain in detail which methods are appropriate for your individual situation and what the possible course of treatment may look like.

How We Design Your Treatment

Every pain therapy begins with a thorough consultation and careful assessment. Based on these findings, we work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan and define clear therapeutic goals.

This approach creates a transparent and trusting foundation: your treatment is understandable, well structured and consistently tailored to your personal needs. Our aim is not only to relieve pain, but also to sustainably strengthen your body awareness and self-regulatory capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Pain Therapy

Who is pain therapy suitable for?

Pain therapy may be beneficial for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints, muscular tension, joint pain and functional disorders. Even in cases where symptoms are unclear or difficult to explain, we take a holistic view to explore possible connections.

How many sessions are necessary?

The number of sessions depends on the type, duration and intensity of the pain. In many cases, several treatments are recommended to allow the body to respond to therapeutic impulses and stabilize.

Is the treatment painful?

Our methods are generally gentle and well-tolerated. Some techniques may cause temporary pressure or stretching sensations, but they are usually not perceived as painful.

Are there any side effects?

Serious side effects are rare. Occasionally, temporary muscle soreness or mild reactions may occur following treatment. We discuss all potential effects openly and transparently in advance.
